 Vagando 

 VAGANDO is a Chicago based dance band with an international flair. This is a hot, sexy, guitar-heavy, beat-heavy group with a rock and roll edge. Their eclectic repertoire of Latin Pop, Middle Eastern Folk, and Jam Band music creates a party atmosphere that draws people to the dance floor.

This dynamic, five-piece band includes Ferris Hermes, vocals, rhythm guitar, and conga; Igor Vinokur, lead guitar; Gibby K., bass guitar and vocals; Ashur Norman, keyboards; and Yuri Hevia Moncada, (Latin Grammy nominated, 2004) drums.  

Ferris and Igor created VAGANDO in 2006. They have been performing around Chicago for the last 4 years. Their sounds and rhythms are infectious.  Every-body wants to move! The band members are from and have lived and played all over the world; Iraq, Turkey, Greece, Jordan, USSR-Ukraine, Israel, and Chile.
